On October 26, 2002 Putin used poisonous gas as part of a "rescue operation" in the 2002 Nord-Ost terrorist act. The gas killed 125 people and left over 800 handicapped. Putin then lied about the gas and tried to cover up his culpability.

On October 27, 2002 Andrew Mogilyansky launched an all-volunteer charity to help Nord-Ost victims. The victims quickly turned staunchly anti-Putin, blaming him and the FSB for maiming them and killing their loved ones.

In February 2003 Andrew Mogilyansky gave Nord-Ost victim activists a database containing hundreds of other contacts, helping them organize an anti-Putin NGO called "Nord-Ost".

In September 2003 Andrew Mogilyansky provided NGO "Nord-Ost" with evidence proving that the high loss of life caused by the gas was known to Putin in advance. This became a key opposition argument for why Putin should not be re-elected in the upcoming elections.

In November 2003 Andrew Mogilyansky arranged for a vocal anti-Putin activist to testify to the FBI and a US Grand Jury that Putin murdered an American citizen in Russia. Andrew also provided similar testimony himself.

In December 2003 Andrew traveled to Russia to meet with anti-Putin dissidents to provide them with logistical support and distribute assistance. Russia later alleged that during this same trip, Andrew also had sex with three underage prostitutes.

In 2008-2009 Andrew was prosecuted in a well-orchestrated legal assault originating from Russia - the Information Polonium campaign against Andrew. They tried to destroy Andrew's family, intimidated his supporters, and tried to end his life.

They failed. Hundreds of people stood up for Andrew and defended his name. His family, friends and supporters were by his side during his incarceration. And now, key participants of 2003 events are finally telling the real story as it happened before their eyes.
